AI applied to health

We always hear people say that robots are going to replace humans, but is this true? Personally, I believe it is very difficult to completely replace humans. Instead, it’s better to think of it this way: artificial intelligence is a tool that will help us become more productive in our professions, regardless of what they are. We need to learn to take full advantage of all its benefits because it will help improve our quality of life.

Artificial intelligence will replace human processes, but as of today, its creators have incorporated a concept that requires human review to verify the accuracy of its results.

In the healthcare sector, artificial intelligence is a type of AI trained specifically for healthcare, which synthesizes information and provides ideas on how to proceed in various processes. It also helps cross-reference research data, producing new ideas to develop models aimed at improving quality of life and enhancing healthcare services.

For instance, AI can analyze different types of scans and information to identify patterns that help draw conclusions about diseases that can be prevented. Another example is that by interacting with AI, a person can ask about their diet if they are following a specific regimen. Now, you can even take a picture, show it to AI, and it can assist you with calorie intake and control, simplifying the process. You can describe your daily routine, and it will calculate your recommended caloric intake for the day.

AI can also personalize recommendations for ongoing health processes to improve quality of life, such as advice on what to do or avoid. It can even update your activities as you progress daily and correct deviations in your process, acting as a health advisor and a permanent companion in your life.

The future of AI will be immensely remarkable because AI is advancing at an incredible pace. Imagine having global information about a health topic in just a few minutes and obtaining accurate diagnostic conclusions. We could reach a point where you can take a picture of a skin rash, describe your symptoms, and ask the AI for its opinion. The AI would be capable of diagnosing the issue so that when you visit a healthcare professional, you already have an idea of what might be happening.

This is where the human factor comes in to interact with the AI and decide the best treatment based on your medical history, current health status, and age. It’s an integration of machines into human processes.
